Pro gear lasts for years and gets used at a lot of events. Each rental is priced at about 5% of the new price, so a $139 Shure SM58 is $7 for your night.
No. Your tech sets up and sound checks everything and shows you the basics: volume, mic mute, and where to plug in a phone. If you'd rather not touch it, book the tech to stay at $20/hr.
Loading in, setup, sound check and pack out. Bigger setups, like a band with a sub or a DJ rig plus a projector, can take longer. We'll tell you before you book.
Travel covers fuel and drive time to your venue and back, usually $30–50 within a region. We quote longer drives before you book.
